Please contact your national federation for your accreditation code.
Then Register Here.
Accreditation access codes are required to access the registration website. These can be obtained as follows:
- Italian Press and Photographers: Will receive the Accreditation Access Codes through Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera (FIDAL).
- International Press and Photographers: Accreditation access codes will be distributed through the IAAF Member Federations. Applications should be made to the national federation of the country where the headquarters of the media organization represented is located.
- International Agencies: Will receive the Accreditation Access Codes directly from the IAAF.
Once the press accreditation process opens and you have your Accreditation Access Code, you will be able to access the IAAF online Accreditation Registration System from this page.
Press Accreditation Access Codes are not for Broadcasters, who will receive their codes through the appropriate channels, or should contact the IAAF Broadcasting Department (firstname.lastname@example.org).

The IAAF/LOC Press Conference will be held on the eve of the IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships 2016, on Friday 6 May 2016 at 12:00 at the Sheraton Parco De' Medici hotel.
A detailed list with names of the athletes participating in the Press Conference will be published on the LOC website, www.roma2016.org.
Any specific request for dedicated one-on-one pre-event interviews to athletes not being already part of the Press Conference, should be mailed to email@example.com. The Local Organising Committee, in cooperation with the athletes’ representatives, will do their best to meet your request.
The Photographers’ briefing will be held in the On-Site Media Centre at Terme di Caracalla Stadium (course venue) on Saturday 7 May, at 7:30 am.
Numbered bibs will be distributed during the briefing.
All accredited photographers must attend the briefing, since distribution of Photo bibs will take place and the circulation through the course will be explained.
Photo bibs will be distributed at that time and will be given upon signature of a “Code of Conduct” whose wording will be finalised by the IAAF. Photo bibs will be distributed only in exchange of an ID or a deposit equivalent to €20 to ensure they are returned to IAAF at the end of the competition.
All the photographers will be able to work from dedicated infield positions, located in front of the finish line, and at the start of the course.
Sub Media Centre at the Sheraton hotel, On-site Media Centre at the Terme di Caracalla Stadium (course venue), and the Mixed zone of the Stadium, will be served by a free dedicated Wi-Fi internet service.
Accredited media representatives will be able to get their own internet access credentials upon request at the Media Desks, both in the Headquarter Hotel Sheraton Parco De' Medici and Caracalla Stadium (course venue).
Media Representatives will be transferred from and to the airport according to travel details but also from the Main Media Hotel to the course and the IAAF/LOC Press Conference.
